Felix Galkin

My name is Feliks Galkin I’m 19 years old and I’m from Philadelphia. At the age of 9 my mother and I moved to the US from Russia. Since my mother was a single parent she had to work a lot to support the family. She signed me up to do sports like swimming and wrestling but the influence of my friends and the freedom that I had led me down the wrong path. All of this began at the age of 12. First I started smoking weed and drinking and by the age of 14 I was popping pills and doing heroin.
At the age of 17 I got arrested, I went through a rehab program, and got kicked out of the house. Everything was going down hill. I had no goals for my life and I just lived to get by. Then one day my mom found this rehab and I decided to give it a try. At first I wanted to stay for a month and leave, then go back to the life I used to live, but going through the program God really touched my heart showing me that drugs were the last problem I had. He showed me the deep rooted areas of my addiction and where they came from. If it wasn’t for God and the pastors in this program, I don’t know where I would be right now! Exodus recovery program helped me get freedom from my addiction.
